I've had several mornings or afternoons where I have been out driving around with family or friends or just on errands and I've wished I'd had my camera with me. Ogden is quite a pretty little spot on this globe.
So we'd had a lightening storm earlier today, but then I decided to go out to run some errands (and was desiring to sing along to my new mix cd, yes I'm the girl driving around town singing out loud in her car) when I saw that the sun was out again this evening. Plus I've found that sun after a rainstorm usually means pretty sunsets. So I decided to take my camera with me this time (after driving around the block again to get it) just incase I saw a pretty enough sunset.
So after my errands around town I drove over to this spot just below Weber State University that I knew had a clear enough view....and then there was a lamp post. I hadn't noticed the lamp post in that particular parking lot before, but the sunset wasn't as pretty as I thought it might be, so I started to shoot this here lamp post. I did not see any Mr. Tumnuses around nor any James McAvoy's sadly...
Anyway, I was kind of pleased with a new subject to photograph! It's been awhile since I've felt like I've taken any good photos, cliche' looking or not. ;]
But yesterday was my last day of the school year!!!!! Summer adventures here I come!! Hopefully there will be some nice ones!
