"Music For The Soul"

I've discovered the phrase "Music for the Soul" has a lot more meaning than I previously thought. I heard someone say recently that they believe music must've been a big part of our life in the pre-existence. That and I read this quote a while back that, "Music is what feelings sound like." I know that music is a huge part of our history as human-kind. And I think that what we can't quite express or comprehend, like the beauty of the universe, is felt deep within us. Our feelings and actions are reflections of our soul or spirit I think. I assume that in the back of our minds we all feel that we are spirits first and foremost...
I thought I'd share some music I've come across lately that might seem a bit like cheesy feel-good songs, but that's what I feel I need right now. ;D

"Have A Little Faith In Me" (Very dear song to me. Originally by John Hiatt, Matt Giraud -below- was a contestant on American Idol a couple years ago.)

Here's one more, I know it's a link, I wasn't able to post the video; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MqkrNA8r_CE&feature=like-suggest&list=UL
I have lots of other favorite feel-good songs too. Maybe I'll do another post like this one, after all it's good for the soul... =)
