"I want to go to there."

Hey my friends!
Well, I've been feeling a bit stiffled of late, I'm aching to be out in nature once summer rolls around. I've been stuck here doing homework and working every weekend of my life (for the last several months anyway)!!
Sooo anywayss, I figure we all have a bucket list, or life to-do-list. On mine I've written a number of places I would LOVE to go to take pictures of or just see the culture.
I narrowed it down to my top 10 places I want to go too, which are:

1. There is an overlook place in Yosemite National Park, California called Glacier Point, I believe. I've been to Yosemite once before with my fam, but we didn't stay for any epic hikes or anything...

2. Machu Picchu, need I say more? jk, I'm dying to go there, I think everyone is though if they've never been...

3. Santorini, Greece. There's just somethin about those bright blue hues against the white. This place just seems so picturesque (spelling?) and warm and oceany...

4. The Monasteries of the Meteora in Greece. Gorgeous and ancient...

5. Yellow Mountain, China...Asia is so pretty and this place seems sacred almost.

6. Mosquee Hassan II, Casablanca, Morocco. I've always thought Morocco would be the type of place to feel the "spices in the air"...I heard that line in a movie once.

7. Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. So cool! Would love to go there.

8. Takstang Monastery, Bhutan. I think this is the place Michael J. Fox visited. Supposed to be one of the happiest places on Earth...

9. Cannon Beach, Oregon. I hear it's a pretty popular spot for photographers, might be a bit crowded with all of them...I also heard Oregon has a treehouse hotel type place, and I wouldn't mind paying to sleep in a tree house..

10. Monument Valley, Utah. Yep never been, I can't believe it...someday soon!

Well, there are other places that'd be neat to see too. The thing is, I always feel like it's better to go and travel when you have good people with you. But I guess for others it's the other way around, maybe some travel to find themselves, or to shape themselves. I've been putting a lot of thought and prayer into whether I should serve a mission or not. I'm starting to become even more unsure about that then ever now. We'll see, however, I look forward to possibly seeing some of these places in person in the future. And am anxious, without sounding creepy, to finding that person I can travel through life with...it sucks to be single. But life is good. School gets out in four freaking weeks then I can go and do some fun photo adventures!!! Yesssssss
=)

  1. Great post Lindsey. You want to go to some amazing places. I hope you get to all of them, and more. You may not know what is in store for you, but Someone does and if you do all you can to stay close to Him, He will let you in on the plan too. :) I'll pray He will guide you through this time. No matter where your path leads, you will always find the beauty around you and that is a blessing indeed!
