Alright, so I'm not really going to be writing about spring here, I just can't think of a clever title right now. I heard this awesome quote one time, "Music is what feelings sound like." Well, I was just thinking about it and how much art could be what feelings look like. I'm not sure that really counts with nature photography, that might be a little different...
Anyway, just thought I'd share that.
P.S. here's a link to an art website that I've been at for a little over a year. I have some of my photos on there, and there's a section where I've faved a lot of really great (jaw-dropping) work from other people. Which is where I'm getting the "monthly photo feature," for my blog, from...(but be careful of wandering around the site, if you do.)

Another thing, I've felt like there's some darkness or bad energy sometimes when it comes to art, which is why I don't really want to major in photography. But I'll see, though the "college years" are an annoying time, it's also a great time, I just have to make do with it... =)

Horchata And Gaga
I'm drinking a glass of Horchata right now, and listenin' to some Lady Gaga...hmm time for some fr-free styyyle writing I think...
The song I'm listening to is called 'I was born this way'. I think one of the biggest things, if not the only thing, that we have no control over (that we know of) in life is to whom we are born to, and where, etc.
In the song she says, "God makes no mistakes.." and really we do have the choice as to how we look at our lives. I feel quite blessed for mine. Anyways, it's kind of a feel good song, and a Hakuna Matata kind of message; in the sense that we shouldn't get too down or worry too much and stuff. This is kind of a vague interpretation of the song I guess...
Well, here's one of my most recent favorite photo that I took.
I can't wait for warmer weather and no school, so I can go on some real photo adventures!

Just a few thoughts...on television
So last night I decided to watch tv (something I try not to do too often). Anyways, I saw this amazing two hour interview with Aron Ralston, the guy who cut off his hand/arm. I heard about him before, thought about seeing the new film '127 hours', but never really new the extent of all the details. I was so intrigued by his story, from the bit about the Raven, to the spiritualness of it all, to him now having the son he dreamed about. I surprisingly was not grossed out when he talked about how he cut his arm off. But yeah, just a truely remarkable experience! After the two hour show/ interview, I kept saying to myself, in my head, "gosh, that's such an incredible story!" I might just read his book 'In between a rock and a hard place' after all...
But hearing about those kinds of stories do sometimes frighten us a little, maybe because we are all so disconnected to nature and it can seem scary sometimes. But I also love those kinds of stories because of the connections they have with nature, it's so raw and it really brings out a persons true colors. I also just love our deep connection we have to the earth, and we are lucky to live in such a beautiful country, a beautiful world!
Another thought I had recently, relating to television, is that it's unfathomable (I just wanted to use that word) to understand why t.v. actors/ actresses get paid 300,000 dollars an episode, or a million dollars an episode! The same goes for athletes and movie stars. We have wars and genocide going on in the world, and poverty and corrupt governments and overpaid movie stars! I swear when I'm rich and famous...jk
Well, I personally don't know what I could do to help change some of the worlds greatest problems, it all seems so tireing when I think about it. But that's part of our world, and at least there are people like me who are blogging about it and trying to think positively, right? ;)
Well, that's all for now, I just wanted to share a few thoughts...
But really, if I ever become rich and famous I will try to change the whole over paid hollywood stuff.
